Job Description

Overview

  • Manage books and records for private partnerships and accounts in a hybrid work environment.
  • Collaborate with portfolio teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace fostering professional growth and development.
  • Engage with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators for seamless operations.
  • Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships and individual investments.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and manage distribution waterfalls.
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents and regulatory standards.
  • Support philanthropic initiatives and community engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and maintain books and records for pooled private investment funds.
  • Account for and reconcile cash, investments, and real property transactions.
  • Manage complex corporate actions and monthly closing accruals.
  • Calculate income and expense allocations and update distribution waterfalls.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with auditors, custodians, and fund administrators.
  • Ensure compliance with governing documents and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support fund operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting or related roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial calculations.
  • Experience with complex corporate actions and distribution waterfalls.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
