Job Description

Overview

  • Support IT operations by maintaining computer systems and networks for optimal performance.
  • Assist in configuring software solutions based on user requirements and organizational workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in system testing, upgrades, and documentation of processes.
  • Monitor and maintain data recovery systems and security protocols.
  • Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and tools.
  • Contribute to team projects and initiatives to enhance IT operations.
  • Support diversity and inclusion practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide desktop, laptop, and peripheral equipment support to staff.
  • Install, upgrade, and repair software and hardware systems.
  • Monitor and maintain wired and wireless networks for optimal performance.
  • Document solutions for system issues and maintain procedural standards.
  • Assist in developing metrics to quantify business value of IT projects.
  • Configure secure user setups and manage system access controls.
  • Collaborate on testing new releases and creating training materials.
  • Support organizational reporting requirements and data analysis tasks.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; formal education in IT preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in IT operations and support.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCP highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Salesforce, databases, and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Willingness to work non-standard hours as needed for project support.
