Overview
- Lead operational management of an ambulatory surgery center, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and report directly to the CEO and Governing Body.
- Oversee clinical and administrative operations, driving performance and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including DOH and Joint Commission requirements.
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight to optimize center operations.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and materials management for operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care services.
- Foster a collaborative environment with physicians and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise daily operations, including clinical and administrative functions, to ensure seamless workflow.
- Lead staff management, driving team performance and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, maintaining accreditation.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, payroll, and revenue cycle processes.
- Manage vendor contracts and supply chain operations to maintain cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on quality assurance, risk management, and infection control initiatives.
- Develop and implement policies to ensure operational excellence and patient satisfaction.
- Support strategic planning and execution of organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of healthcare administration experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proven expertise in ambulatory surgery center operations and outpatient care management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance.
- Knowledge of materials management, payroll processes, and financial oversight.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, including DOH and Joint Commission.
