Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide accurate diagnoses for patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Manage medication regimens and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress.
• Adapt to dynamic clinical environments and provide flexible care solutions.
• Support extended patient access through early morning and evening clinical hours.

Job Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Active New York State license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3 years preferred in psychiatric care.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in patient care.
• Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic clinical environments and patient needs.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation.
