Overview
- Collaborate with the CFO to oversee financial reporting, analysis, and special projects for the management company.
- Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and manage cash positions across accounts.
- Allocate expenses between entities based on company policies and governing documents.
- Assist with annual budgeting processes and coordinate with external tax advisors on tax filings.
- Support quarterly valuation processes and review financial statements prepared by administrators.
- Prepare investor reports, coordinate audits, and manage regulatory compliance filings.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows and reporting systems.
- Coordinate with external lenders on compliance requirements and manage interest payment schedules.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Partner with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, including cash flow forecasts and bank statements.
- Allocate expenses and manage corporate card transactions across entities.
- Coordinate with external advisors for tax filings and compliance matters.
- Support quarterly valuations and assist in reviewing fund financial statements.
- Prepare investor reports and respond to queries regarding financial statements and audits.
- Assist in preparing capital calls, distributions, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to automation initiatives, enhancing QuickBooks workflows and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial reporting systems.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with fund administration and investor reporting processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with external advisors and stakeholders.
