Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with the CFO to oversee financial reporting, analysis, and special projects for the management company.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank statements, and manage cash positions across accounts.
  • Allocate expenses between entities based on company policies and governing documents.
  • Assist with annual budgeting processes and coordinate with external tax advisors on tax filings.
  • Support quarterly valuation processes and review financial statements prepared by administrators.
  • Prepare investor reports, coordinate audits, and manage regulatory compliance filings.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, optimizing workflows and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate with external lenders on compliance requirements and manage interest payment schedules.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partner with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, including cash flow forecasts and bank statements.
  • Allocate expenses and manage corporate card transactions across entities.
  • Coordinate with external advisors for tax filings and compliance matters.
  • Support quarterly valuations and assist in reviewing fund financial statements.
  • Prepare investor reports and respond to queries regarding financial statements and audits.
  • Assist in preparing capital calls, distributions, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives, enhancing QuickBooks workflows and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and financial reporting systems.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with fund administration and investor reporting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with external advisors and stakeholders.
