Overview
- Provide comprehensive women's health care services in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Perform routine gynecological care, including annual exams, family planning, and STI testing and treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and procedures to manage gynecological conditions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient health records using electronic systems.
- Engage in a fast-paced clinical setting with opportunities for professional growth.
- Support patients with diverse backgrounds, including those who speak Creole or Spanish.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct physical exams and review medical histories to assess patient health.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments.
- Perform office procedures such as IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, and biopsies.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and social workers for integrated patient care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Job Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on women's health.
- Valid NP and RN licenses with national certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in gynecological care, preferred 4 years.
- Proficiency in performing office procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon placements.
- Comfortable using electronic health records systems, particularly eCW.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Multilingual skills, especially in Creole or Spanish, are highly desirable.
