Overview

  • Lead commercial construction projects across diverse locations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain seamless project execution and site operations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to address challenges and drive project success.
  • Conduct site inspections, safety meetings, and prepare detailed progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies to uphold a secure work environment.
  • Utilize advanced scheduling tools to manage project timelines and milestones effectively.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure successful project handovers.
  • Travel extensively across various regions to supervise and manage on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise on-site subcontractors and trades, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address field issues and maintain project progress.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to uphold safety protocols and standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, daily logs, and field reports.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies consistently.
  • Manage project schedules using advanced scheduling software tools effectively.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure completion of final punch lists.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent.
  • Proven ability to manage fast-paced construction schedules and multi-trade coordination.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and safety planning.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Midwest and East Coast.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
