Overview
- Provide essential nursing care at a women's shelter serving the general population in a supportive, collaborative environment.
- Work closely with a Psychiatric NP and Medical NP for clinical support and interdisciplinary team-based care.
- Maintain a consistent schedule, Tuesday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise assigned staff, providing clinical leadership and guidance to ensure quality care delivery.
- Conduct health assessments, vital checks, and coordinate care with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary team members.
- Act as primary medical case manager for assigned clients, ensuring their health needs are met.
- Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and external providers to support client care plans effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including medication administration records and controlled substance logs.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences, sharing clinical findings and updates.
- Provide health education and advocate for client health goals and preferences.
- Deliver emergency first aid and CPR when needed, ensuring immediate response to urgent situations.
Job Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required, with a valid New York State license.
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in nursing or related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with 2 years preferred.
- Strong documentation skills, including medication administration and controlled substance logs.
- Ability to coordinate care plans with physicians, pharmacies, and external providers.
- Proficiency in delivering emergency first aid and CPR when required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
