Job Description

Overview

  • Support trade execution processes with a focus on derivatives, ensuring transactions are accurately booked and aligned with valuation methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Front Office, Deal Teams, and Portfolio Finance to ensure trades meet strategic and structural requirements.
  • Operate in a high-accountability, fast-paced environment, contributing to trade lifecycle management and issue resolution.
  • Develop automation solutions using Excel, Python, and AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Cross-train across derivative and private market products to enhance team scalability and continuity.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, counterparties, and fund administrators.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, cross-functional team model with exposure across trading, finance, and technology.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Book and validate derivative transactions with precision, ensuring alignment with Front Office intent and valuation methodologies.
  • Manage lifecycle events of derivative trades, including resets, payments, and amendments.
  • Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture and reporting flows.
  • Partner with internal teams to address strategic, structural, and tax considerations in trade execution.
  • Identify and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency using advanced tools.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and external partners for smooth execution and issue resolution.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to improve scalability and operational continuity.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture by engaging in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in middle office, trade support, or derivatives operations.
  • Proficiency in derivative products, trade booking, and lifecycle management.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel, Python, and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Experience with Bloomberg, MarkitWire, and trade capture systems.
  • Strong understanding of valuation concepts across various financial instruments.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders.
