It Operations Engineer

Overview

• Provide advanced technical support and serve as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues.
• Lead endpoint engineering, identity and access management, automation, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, and Systems teams to enhance service quality and user experience.
• Drive deployment initiatives, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support Microsoft 365, Zoom, Teams Phone, and meeting room technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve endpoint networking issues and cross-platform performance challenges.
• Maintain hardware lifecycle management and operational metrics reporting.
• Contribute to change management activities, including testing and post-implementation evaluations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Build and maintain Windows images, hardened configurations, and supporting automation scripts.
• Manage Microsoft Intune or Tanium configuration profiles and compliance policies.
• Administer Azure Active Directory and on-premises Active Directory systems.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for provisioning and compliance.
• Troubleshoot advanced incidents across endpoints, identity systems, and collaboration tools.
• Lead deployment initiatives, including device refresh programs and configuration rollouts.
• Collaborate on access reviews, policy changes, and incident response procedures.
• Maintain configuration management database accuracy and generate operational metrics.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in endpoint and systems support.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and modern endpoint hardware.
• Expertise with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, and PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead technical initiatives.
