Overview
- Lead clinical operations at a residential facility serving youth with complex mental health diagnoses.
- Develop and enhance transitional and permanency programs to improve outcomes for residents and families.
- Provide clinical supervision to teams, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support educational and emotional growth of residents.
- Maintain relationships with local resources and ensure efficient referral procedures.
- Oversee documentation and charts to ensure compliance with standards.
- Participate in clinical and treatment meetings to align strategies and goals.
- Support staff training in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques.
- Ensure the integration of the facility's mission into daily operations and communication.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement structures for transitional and permanency programs within the residential facility.
- Provide clinical supervision to staff, assessing competencies and addressing rehabilitative and clinical needs.
- Facilitate joint meetings with community-based programs to ensure effective family support.
- Participate in administrative meetings to present updates and align strategies.
- Oversee compliance with OMH regulations and guidelines.
- Manage transitional and wrap-around funds in collaboration with the business director.
- Supervise transitional coordinators and other specialists to ensure quality service delivery.
- Provide direct transitional coordinator services as needed.
- Ensure alignment of clinical services with the facility's mission and goals.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or related human services field.
- LCSW certification required; experience with emotionally disturbed adolescents preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the social service sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to families' homes and work one weekend day per week.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of therapeutic crisis intervention techniques and verbal de-escalation strategies.
