Overview
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring accurate data collection and smooth intake processes.
- Work closely with the Intake Director to support efficient medical billing and health information management.
- Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Conduct initial client assessments to determine needs and direct them to appropriate services.
- Document client information accurately in the system to facilitate seamless operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth intake process and excellent service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Contribute to the organization’s mission by ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Answer incoming calls and assist clients professionally and courteously.
- Gather necessary client information using phone systems to facilitate the intake process.
- Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs and direct them to the appropriate services or resources.
- Document client information accurately and efficiently in the system.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and effective intake process.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions promptly.
- Support medical billing and health information management through accurate data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Science (AS) degree required, with relevant coursework preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 3 years preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for client interactions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage intake processes effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with medical billing systems preferred.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
- Willingness to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
