Overview

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring accurate data collection and smooth intake processes.
  • Work closely with the Intake Director to support efficient medical billing and health information management.
  • Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Conduct initial client assessments to determine needs and direct them to appropriate services.
  • Document client information accurately in the system to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth intake process and excellent service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism under pressure.
  • Contribute to the organization’s mission by ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients professionally and courteously.
  • Gather necessary client information using phone systems to facilitate the intake process.
  • Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs and direct them to the appropriate services or resources.
  • Document client information accurately and efficiently in the system.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and effective intake process.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions promptly.
  • Support medical billing and health information management through accurate data entry.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree required, with relevant coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 3 years preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for client interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage intake processes effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with medical billing systems preferred.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
