Overview

  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to optimize procurement strategies and operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.

  • Coordinate stocking matrices and inventory setups for new store launches and ongoing operations.
  • Analyze profitability trends and implement strategic actions to enhance gross margins and overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate data integrity across systems and processes.
  • Support store teams with merchandising strategies and operational requirements, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
  • Conduct audits on product quality, sales metrics, and profitability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Travel up to 30% to oversee vendor operations and provide on-site support to stores.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Negotiate and procure goods, ensuring optimal value, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Determine order quantities and manage lead times while adhering to vendor agreements.
  • Create and validate purchase orders and invoices using advanced SAP systems.
  • Update pricing and product data to safeguard cost structures and profit margins.
  • Coordinate distribution logistics and resolve operational challenges with vendors effectively.
  • Support project execution and ensure timely completion of procurement-related initiatives.
  • Maintain product data accuracy and integrity within internal systems and databases.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems for purchase order creation and inventory tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills for data reporting, trend analysis, and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage vendor relationships and internal collaboration.
