Overview

  • Lead fund accounting operations, ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to industry standards in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and net asset value calculations for assigned funds, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Execute capital call and distribution processes with precision, meeting deadlines and client expectations effectively.
  • Resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly, ensuring adherence to policies and maintaining data integrity.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
  • Assist in audits, ensuring thorough and timely completion of requirements while maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and refine workflows to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain consistent service delivery and address client-specific needs.
  • Participate in client onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and setup for new engagements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or Business is required, demonstrating foundational knowledge.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, preferably in fund administration or auditing, with 5 years preferred.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) is highly preferred, showcasing advanced expertise.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and client engagement.
  • Proficiency in proprietary systems and adaptability to new technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
