Overview

  • Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems for high-reliability applications in regulated industries.

  • Author and review comprehensive mechanical design documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop mechanical architectures for electromechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental durability.
  • Perform and critically evaluate simulations for vibration, shock, and thermal conditions to ensure system reliability.
  • Drive electromechanical integration, ensuring precise alignment of sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Lead qualification testing and failure analysis for safety-critical products, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure production-ready designs without compromising performance.
  • Enforce design for manufacturing and reliability principles throughout development stages.
  • Mentor engineering teams, raising mechanical engineering standards across the organization.
  • Conduct senior-level design reviews and provide strategic input to enhance product development processes.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-reliability mechanical systems design.
  • Proficiency in electromechanical integration and structural simulations is essential.
  • Expertise in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental durability standards and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and complex assemblies.
  • Advanced understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal management, and heat transfer principles.
  • Proven track record in delivering designs from R&D to production readiness.
