Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide 24/7 clinical leadership and operational oversight in maternity units.
- Validate and execute care processes to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with nursing leaders and interdepartmental teams for seamless care delivery.
- Monitor staffing effectiveness and address readiness across all shifts.
- Lead initiatives for regulatory compliance and performance improvement.
- Engage staff through shared governance and accountability frameworks.
- Support professional development and certification acquisition among team members.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NYS license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of acute care clinical experience.
- Prior charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and operational leadership skills.
- National Certification in Nursing Leadership or clinical specialty preferred.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement and staff engagement initiatives.
