Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational processes for a prominent hedge fund specializing in credit and equity-related strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of trade data across diverse financial instruments.
  • Collaborate with trading teams to enhance operational efficiency and support investment activities.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of processes using project management expertise.
  • Leverage knowledge of OMS/PMS systems and trade lifecycle management for operational excellence.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, blending on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Reconcile daily trades, investment positions, and cash balances with external parties.
  • Book trades and allocate them accurately within the system.
  • Maintain data integrity, including updates to security master and fee schedules.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing operational processes for efficiency.
  • Resolve settlement discrepancies for cash securities, equities, bonds, and options.
  • Run end-of-day PNL processes, identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Engage with traders and PMs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in middle-office operations within hedge funds or financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in OMS/PMS systems and trade lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Equity TRS, OTC derivatives processing, and corporate actions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment independently.
  • Familiarity with Enfusion and AI tools is a plus.
