Overview

  • Serve as a Technical Architect, contributing to innovative architectural designs and construction documentation processes.
  • Collaborate with a talented team to deliver meaningful client experiences and impactful design solutions.
  • Engage in all aspects of interior design and architecture, focusing on construction documentation and administration.
  • Utilize advanced parametric modeling techniques to create precise architectural documentation.
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment to address architectural challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with building and accessibility codes across all projects.
  • Lead construction documentation efforts on less complex projects, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Participate in construction observation and administration for highly complex projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct field surveys to assess existing conditions and their impact on design.
  • Collaborate with Project Architects to produce efficient construction documents for complex projects.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants and regulatory agencies.
  • Research, specify, and document architectural elements and assemblies.
  • Facilitate internal drawing and code reviews, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Lead construction administration efforts for less complex projects, managing tasks and resolving field issues.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate and complete.
  • Participate in the design process, addressing architectural challenges effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in parametric modeling and construction documentation processes.
  • Strong knowledge of building and accessibility codes and their application.
  • Experience in coordinating with consultants, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
  • Ability to lead construction documentation and administration efforts effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and professional judgment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage project deadlines.
