Overview

  • Lead accounting operations for alternative investments, ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to optimize workflows and improve financial reporting processes.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, automation, and accuracy in accounting practices.
  • Provide expertise on accounting standards, guiding stakeholders and ensuring regulatory adherence.
  • Supervise transaction processing, balance reconciliations, and reporting activities for operational excellence.
  • Support audit processes, proactively addressing requests and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Contribute to organizational success by delivering high-quality results and fostering collaboration.
  • Champion continuous improvement in accounting operations and team development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee transaction processing and balance reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
  • Prepare and review internal and external financial reports, including regulatory disclosures.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen control environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring quality output.
  • Research and apply accounting guidance to address complex financial scenarios.
  • Manage audit interactions, supporting requests and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform assigned accounting tasks and ensure adherence to SOX controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of accounting or finance experience, with 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and statutory accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
