Overview
- Lead and manage electrical projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
- Coordinate project execution, control, and completion within established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve conflicts and achieve project objectives.
- Oversee adherence to health and safety standards, reporting any issues promptly.
- Manage project resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and allocation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and communication.
- Prepare and process project submittals and resolve RFIs efficiently.
- Supervise Assistant Project Managers to maintain production quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and manage project schedules and timelines to meet contractual requirements.
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring deliverables.
- Lead quality assurance processes and report on project status regularly.
- Implement and manage changes to meet project deliverables effectively.
- Evaluate project outcomes and assess results for continuous improvement.
- Attend project meetings and represent organizational goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in project management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools essential.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in contract negotiation and conflict resolution highly valued.
