Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage electrical projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies.
  • Coordinate project execution, control, and completion within established timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve conflicts and achieve project objectives.
  • Oversee adherence to health and safety standards, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Manage project resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and allocation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective project management and communication.
  • Prepare and process project submittals and resolve RFIs efficiently.
  • Supervise Assistant Project Managers to maintain production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and manage project schedules and timelines to meet contractual requirements.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring deliverables.
  • Lead quality assurance processes and report on project status regularly.
  • Implement and manage changes to meet project deliverables effectively.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and assess results for continuous improvement.
  • Attend project meetings and represent organizational goals and objectives.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in project management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in electrical projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools essential.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and conflict resolution highly valued.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of working independently.
