Overview

  • Lead financial operations and reporting for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and drive strategic financial initiatives.
  • Prepare and oversee consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and audit documentation.
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow activities to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with lender requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements, capital call letters, and audit documentation.
  • Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and balance sheet account schedules.
  • Conduct variance analysis for income statements and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy.
  • Oversee cash management, including reconciliations, projections, and loan draws.
  • Review contracts and agreements for financial implications and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing necessary documentation and forms.
  • Supervise funding and payment requests, ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with financial reporting, audits, and strategic financial planning.
  • Comfortable supervising and mentoring accounting teams to achieve organizational goals.
