Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as an Office Assistant for a fast-paced steel company, providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform diverse office tasks, including data entry, phone handling, and customer service, contributing to overall team efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager to address daily operational needs and maintain office functionality.
  • Utilize computer literacy skills to manage office systems and processes effectively.
  • Engage in a collaborative environment with 13 employees, fostering teamwork and mutual support.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a non-corporate, dynamic setting, enhancing professional growth.
  • Enjoy a consistent on-site schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform accurate data entry tasks to support operational needs and maintain records.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scheduling, and document preparation.
  • Support office operations by managing supplies and ensuring a well-organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to address immediate office needs and challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background required.
