Oracle Application Support Analyst

Overview

• Provide expert support for Oracle E-Business Suite applications in a dynamic IT environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and user experience.
• Analyze and resolve complex application issues, ensuring seamless operations.
• Contribute to system upgrades and enhancements to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for processes and system interfaces.
• Stay informed on Oracle EBS advancements to implement best practices.
• Support compliance with ITIL framework and incident management protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity and system functionality.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver functional and technical support for Oracle EBS modules to end-users.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, including data inconsistencies and system errors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the EBS environment.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system updates and integrations.
• Monitor system performance and conduct preventative maintenance tasks.
• Support integration between EBS and other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate on customizations and enhancements to improve platform functionality.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS application support.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for troubleshooting and optimization.
• Experience with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in system integrations and interfaces.
• Preferred experience with Oracle Workflow and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of interface technologies and data integration concepts.
• ITIL certification and familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are advantageous.
