Digital Assets Accounting Manager

Overview

• Manage fund administration for cryptocurrency and digital asset investment products under SEC regulations.
• Coordinate regulatory filings including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and shareholder reports.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP financial statements and digital asset valuation standards.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on fund documentation and offering materials.
• Support new product development and launch activities for crypto-based funds.
• Oversee NAV calculations, fund expense accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain relationships with third-party service providers including custodians and auditors.
• Stay updated on evolving regulatory frameworks for digital asset funds.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Administer operational and regulatory processes for cryptocurrency and digital asset funds.
• Coordinate and review regulatory filings such as Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, and NPORT.
• Support fund governance and risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee fund documentation including prospectuses and offering materials.
• Ensure accuracy in NAV calculations and fund expense reconciliations.
• Manage relationships with custodians, fund accountants, and legal counsel.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting digital asset funds.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of fund administration experience; 15 years preferred.
• 2 years of direct experience with cryptocurrency or blockchain-related funds required.
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SEC filings, U.S. GAAP, and digital asset valuation.
• Familiarity with blockchain data analysis and crypto custody auditing.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in mutual fund operations and Investment Company Act of 1940 requirements.
