Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a compassionate advocate for hospice services within the community.
  • Build and nurture trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and referral sources.
  • Promote awareness and preference for hospice care services in the assigned territory.
  • Support patients and families by providing empathetic guidance and information about hospice care.
  • Drive census growth through strategic outreach and relationship-building efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of hospice services.
  • Represent the organization’s mission and values in all professional interactions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct regular outreach to physicians, healthcare partners, and community agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to drive growth.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and families about hospice services and benefits.
  • Facilitate initial conversations and consent processes with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure comprehensive understanding of services.
  • Monitor and report on outreach activities and referral trends.
  • Participate in community events to enhance visibility and engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare sales or marketing experience.
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of hospice care services and philosophy is a plus.
