Overview

  • Manage capital market activities, including project and acquisition financings, within a global renewable energy organization.
  • Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to achieve financial objectives and strategic goals.
  • Develop and negotiate financing agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational growth initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional development and a dynamic work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of financing strategies and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with construction timelines and funding requirements for renewable energy projects.
  • Leverage expertise in financial modeling and tax equity structures to optimize financing solutions.
  • Participate in enhancing financial management practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead execution of debt and tax equity financings, ensuring timely financial close.
  • Develop and negotiate term sheets, credit agreements, and finance documents.
  • Coordinate with development teams to align financing with project timelines.
  • Prepare financing strategies for presentation to senior management.
  • Support leadership in enhancing financial management practices.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including investors and legal advisors.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and team-oriented working culture.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project finance or investment banking.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and familiarity with tax equity structures.
  • Experience in renewable energy, particularly residential solar, preferred.
  • Professional designation such as CFA or CPA is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling.
