- Develop scalable factory layouts and material flow models for multi-site deployment.
- Optimize facility layouts and material flow to support high-throughput operations.
- Design production systems aligned with takt time, throughput, and output targets.
- Plan capacity models and ramp strategies for new and existing manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful site launches.
- Drive standardization across locations through operating procedures and documentation.
- Implement tooling, fixtures, and infrastructure for facility readiness.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the end-to-end execution of new factory builds, from design to operational readiness.
- Develop repeatable layouts and production systems for efficient multi-site deployment.
- Create optimized facility layouts and material flow for high-throughput operations.
- Design and implement production lines, workstations, and labor models.
- Develop capacity models and ramp strategies to identify constraints and scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to install critical infrastructure.
- Establish standard work and documentation for consistency across sites.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Facilities, and Quality teams for successful launches.
- Leverage data and feedback to drive continuous improvement across facilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering roles.
- Proficiency in factory layout and design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong foundation in lean manufacturing and production ramp planning.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling manufacturing operations.
- Ability to operate strategically and hands-on during factory bring-up.
- Experience with capacity modeling and identifying scalable solutions.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating structure in fast-moving environments.
