Overview
- Manage electronic billing processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct conflicts checks and analyze results, providing accurate and timely reports to attorneys and staff.
- Perform accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry and expense report processing.
- Collaborate with billing coordinators and collections teams to optimize invoicing and payment processes.
- Maintain vendor profiles and communicate updates to the finance team.
- Provide training and documentation for electronic billing systems.
- Research corporate entities for conflicts review using various resources.
- Support attorneys and staff by addressing conflicts and providing summaries of findings.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer electronic billing systems, including troubleshooting and weekly audits.
- Generate and distribute e-billing reports, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Conduct conflicts checks and analyze results for new business and lateral hires.
- Communicate conflicts check findings to attorneys and staff, ensuring accuracy.
- Enter vendor invoices and expense reports into the firm's system for payment.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to address conflicts and resolve issues.
- Maintain and update conflicts databases with accurate information.
- Provide training and documentation for billing processes and systems.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of e-billing experience; law firm experience preferred.
- Proficiency with ProLaw or similar billing systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
