Job Description

Overview

  • Provide exceptional customer service and inside sales support within a fast-paced aerospace distribution environment.
  • Respond to inbound RFQs and prepare accurate quotes using internal pricing tools.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams and external vendors to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Manage the full order lifecycle, including quoting, pricing, and follow-up communication.
  • Support outside sales efforts and maintain relationships with assigned customers.
  • Develop product knowledge and apply pricing discipline effectively within six months.
  • Work on-site during standard business hours with potential overtime opportunities.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage inbound RFQs and deliver timely quotes to customers using internal tools.
  • Ensure accuracy in purchase order processing and review for completeness.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors for pricing and lead time information.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers via email and selective phone interactions.
  • Follow up on key accounts to support quote conversion and relationship management.
  • Support outside sales and business development activities as required.
  • Demonstrate sound pricing judgment and escalate higher-value quotes appropriately.
  • Maintain organization across multiple sales opportunities and stages.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, primarily via email, with some phone interaction.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution and responsiveness.
  • Comfortable working with internal systems and performing data entry tasks.
  • Prior customer service, inside sales, or office experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work on-site during standard business hours with potential overtime.
