Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to building design and MEP CAD/BIM processes for diverse projects in a hybrid work environment.
  • Enhance BIM processes, standards, and system modeling technology implementation across multidisciplinary projects.
  • Support modeling automation, scripting, and computational design to optimize workflows and enhance project delivery.
  • Lead efforts in integrating advanced BIM methodologies while ensuring quality and consistency in models and documentation.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality engineering documents from design concept through construction.
  • Work on projects spanning healthcare, educational, commercial, and industrial facilities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation in BIM practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate modeling conflicts across disciplines to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency in BIM processes.
  • Implement and manage BIM standards and workflows to maintain consistency across projects.
  • Ensure models meet quality standards and support project objectives effectively.
  • Serve as a technical expert in Revit and BIM automation tools, providing guidance and training.
  • Support project teams in delivering high-quality engineering documents from concept to construction.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance BIM methodologies and project delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Technology or Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD/Revit, including MEP design; 6 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in BIM processes, standards, and system modeling technology implementation.
  • Experience with modeling automation, scripting, and computational design for workflow optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM automation tools, with ability to train and guide teams.
  • Ability to coordinate modeling conflicts across disciplines and ensure quality standards.
  • Familiarity with projects in healthcare, educational, commercial, and industrial sectors.
