Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to a leading organization as a Senior Accountant, driving financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Engage in diverse accounting tasks, including fixed assets, foreign exchange, taxes, and leases.
  • Collaborate on quarter-end close processes to ensure precise financial disclosures.
  • Develop innovative processes to enhance and automate accounting operations.
  • Prepare detailed variance analysis and commentary for financial accounts.
  • Analyze intercompany transactions and prepare reconciliations for audits.
  • Expand your expertise through exposure to high-level projects and collaboration.
  • Contribute to impactful financial initiatives in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze and prepare journal entries for complex transactions, including acquisitions and lease amendments.
  • Assist in quarter-end close processes, including consolidation and disclosure preparation.
  • Perform financial analyses and peer comparisons to support reporting accuracy.
  • Record recurring journal entries and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize and automate accounting processes for efficiency.
  • Prepare variance analysis and commentary for income statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Respond to audit inquiries and prepare supporting schedules for auditors.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and special projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification or Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, ideally within a public company environment.
  • Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with JDE, Hyperion, or Workiva is advantageous.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Experience in hybrid work environments is a plus.
