Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct financial reporting processes, including consolidation and month-end close activities.
- Develop and enforce accounting policies for structured products under US GAAP.
- Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance for SEC-registered entities.
- Collaborate with compliance teams on risk management and regulatory initiatives.
- Partner with technology teams to modernize financial systems and reporting capabilities.
- Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Build and sustain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Drive intercompany arrangements, transfer pricing, and financial optimization strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree required; CPA certification mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Expertise in SEC or FINRA regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Technical knowledge of derivatives and structured products under US GAAP.
- Proven experience in financial systems modernization and technology integration.
- Success in regulated financial services environments.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts.
