Overview

  • Lead financial strategy and governance, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and accounting standards to maintain integrity and transparency.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and optimize financial operations.
  • Enhance financial systems through modernization efforts, improving efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, maintaining robust internal controls and governance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct financial reporting processes, including consolidation and month-end close activities.
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies for structured products under US GAAP.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting and compliance for SEC-registered entities.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams on risk management and regulatory initiatives.
  • Partner with technology teams to modernize financial systems and reporting capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls and governance frameworks.
  • Build and sustain relationships with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Drive intercompany arrangements, transfer pricing, and financial optimization strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required; CPA certification mandatory.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles.
  • Expertise in SEC or FINRA regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Technical knowledge of derivatives and structured products under US GAAP.
  • Proven experience in financial systems modernization and technology integration.
  • Success in regulated financial services environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts.
