Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process payrolls and union benefits with precision and compliance to regulations.
  • Manage time entry, personnel changes, and timesheets for payroll accuracy.
  • Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records, including leave and personnel files.
  • Calculate and process union fringe benefits and meet reporting requirements.
  • Generate detailed payroll reports to support organizational decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll policies and regulatory standards consistently.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance payroll systems and operational workflows.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of payroll processing experience; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications required.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and processes essential; JDE experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate payroll management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to resolve payroll issues.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and improve processes.
  • Availability to work onsite during standard business hours with flexibility.
