Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks, including reconciliation and review of financial transactions.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and manage investment-related receivables and payables.
- Develop and maintain control frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with technology teams to automate and improve accounting processes.
- Resolve discrepancies and exceptions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Take ownership of outstanding items to ensure timely resolution and reporting accuracy.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance organizational performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices and systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2-5 years of experience in GAAP or statutory accounting practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Experience with account reconciliations and exception management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle General Ledger, TM1, PAM, and Aladdin is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical business deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment with adaptability.
