Overview

  • Manage accounting operations for a dynamic investment portfolio, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance accounting processes.

  • Utilize advanced accounting tools to support strategic initiatives and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks, including reconciliation and review of financial transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and manage investment-related receivables and payables.
  • Develop and maintain control frameworks to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to automate and improve accounting processes.
  • Resolve discrepancies and exceptions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of outstanding items to ensure timely resolution and reporting accuracy.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance organizational performance.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting practices and systems.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in GAAP or statutory accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage conflicts effectively.
  • Experience with account reconciliations and exception management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle General Ledger, TM1, PAM, and Aladdin is a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical business deadlines efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment with adaptability.
