Overview

  • Lead the financial strategy and operations of a growing investment platform with institutional backing and ambitious growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape and execute strategic initiatives for scaling the organization effectively.
  • Oversee fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting to support institutional fund formation and growth.
  • Drive operational due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio strategy development to ensure robust investment performance.
  • Develop scalable finance processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support organizational expansion.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and advisors to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level decision-making and organizational development to enhance the platform's capabilities.
  • Support talent acquisition and development within finance and operations teams as the firm scales.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and scaling efforts for the investment platform.
  • Build and lead the finance infrastructure, including fund structuring and management operations.
  • Support fundraising strategies, investor diligence processes, and regulatory readiness for institutional fund formation.
  • Manage liquidity planning, forecasting, and capital deployment visibility to optimize financial operations.
  • Participate in operational due diligence and transaction execution to ensure investment success.
  • Provide financial insights on acquisitions and platform scaling opportunities to drive growth.
  • Establish scalable finance processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support organizational expansion.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and advisors to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in finance leadership roles within private equity or infrastructure platforms.
  • Proven expertise in fund structuring, management operations, and institutional fund launches.
  • Strong exposure to SEC registration preparation and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Experience in operational due diligence, M&A execution, and portfolio strategy development.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale finance infrastructure and manage complex financial operations.
  • Educational background in finance or related fields; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Exceptional strategic and operational execution skills with hands-on leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and external advisors.
