Overview

• Perform CT imaging procedures adhering to industry standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment ensuring optimal functionality.
• Provide patient care and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Ensure compliance with New York State licensing requirements.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
• Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures ensuring comfort.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust settings for optimal imaging.
• Monitor and evaluate scan results for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized imaging environment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide clear instructions to patients regarding procedures.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed in New York State for Radiologic Technology with injection permit.
• Registered or eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Advanced certification in CT imaging preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment effectively.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
