Job Description

Overview

  • Lead performance monitoring and analysis across private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings.
  • Deliver investment updates and summaries to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with fund managers to track macro developments and trends.
  • Represent the organization at AGMs and industry conferences.
  • Prepare performance analytics and fund-level financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with governance teams on secondary sales and investment oversight.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and analytical skills.
  • Contribute to scaling the function through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Monitor and analyze fund performance across private market offerings.
  • Prepare executive-level summaries and investment updates for stakeholders.
  • Engage regularly with fund managers to assess market trends.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
  • Develop financial models and performance analytics for fund portfolios.
  • Support governance initiatives including secondary sales and oversight decisions.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members, enhancing their skills and expertise.
  • Ensure high-quality communication and deliverables for senior stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field is required.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in private markets, investment banking, or asset management.
  • Progress toward CFA or CAIA certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize complex investment data into concise materials.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as required.
