Traveling Superintendent

Overview

• Lead construction projects for ground-up restaurant builds, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate with teams on-site and remotely to maintain project alignment.
• Oversee all phases of construction, from planning to execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Travel extensively to various project locations as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project goals.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols across all project sites.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction management; 20 years preferred.
• Proven expertise in ground-up restaurant construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to travel extensively and adapt to various project environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges.
• Educational background in construction or related field preferred.
