Job Description

Overview

  • Provide compliance support to internal teams, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze compliance data to identify trends and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Draft, update, and distribute compliance policies and procedures to enhance organizational standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Evaluate internal controls and compliance processes to identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and external counsel as needed.
  • Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk management processes.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Compliance Program.
  • Perform other compliance-related duties as assigned to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support to property and asset management teams.
  • Review and resolve compliance issues, including remediation efforts.
  • Analyze compliance testing results to identify risk areas and trends.
  • Draft and distribute compliance policies and related communications.
  • Develop training materials and deliver sessions on regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate compliance processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory and legal inquiries with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute compliance monitoring and testing programs effectively.
  • Support vendor risk assessments and control evaluations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit.
  • Experience in real estate property management or financial services preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; legal research tools experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
