Overview
- Lead global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee financial processes including general ledger, consolidation, and project accounting.
- Manage external audits and statutory reporting across international regions.
- Implement process improvements and automation initiatives for financial operations.
- Support ERP system evaluation and long-term strategy development.
- Develop and mentor a geographically distributed accounting team.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders on financial trends and operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and project-based revenue recognition standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes globally.
- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.
- Manage external audit relationships and deliverables.
- Support cross-functional decision-making with financial insights.
- Develop and maintain strong internal control environments.
- Coordinate compliance with local statutory reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Mentor and develop accounting teams across multiple regions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably 10 years, in accounting leadership roles.
- Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and project-based revenue recognition.
- Experience managing global consolidation and external audit processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC 6.0 Finance modules.
- Proven ability to lead and develop geographically distributed teams.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
