Director Of Education Program Services

Overview

• Lead and oversee educational program operations to ensure high-quality special education services for children.
• Develop and implement curriculum strategies aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
• Supervise and mentor staff to foster professional growth and ensure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program offerings and community engagement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in all program activities.
• Monitor program performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between the organization, other agencies, and the community regarding program services.
• Directly supervise clinical and direct care staff to optimize service delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate and oversee all components of the educational program to ensure effective utilization of resources.
• Develop and expand program offerings to meet the needs of children served.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures influencing program operations.
• Supervise direct care and clinical staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards in program delivery.
• Collaborate with agency programs and external organizations to enhance service quality.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Attend to the individual needs of children served, ensuring comprehensive support and care.

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active NYS Certification in Special Education.
• NYS School Building Leader (SBL) or School Administrator and Supervisor (SAS) Certification.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a School Administrator.
• Preferred 5 years of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
• Strong leadership and program management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to enhancing educational services and outcomes for children.
