Job Description

Overview

  • Support and advance centralized strategic sourcing and procurement processes throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Source new vendors, maintain vendor relationships, and assist with contract and budget management.
  • Obtain competitive bids and procure materials, supplies, and services within established guidelines.
  • Draft requests for proposals and evaluation criteria for vendor sourcing.
  • Maintain vendor master listing and optimize vendor relationships.
  • Assist internal customers with procurement requests and provide administrative support for competitive procurement actions.
  • Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems and reconcile vendor invoices.
  • Review contracts and enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Generate operational reports and dashboards to track spend and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft and manage requests for proposals and vendor evaluation criteria.
  • Maintain and optimize vendor master listings and relationships.
  • Support internal procurement requests and conduct competitive procurement actions.
  • Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices using ERP systems.
  • Review contracts and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist with budget development and tracking projected spend.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor procurement performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track and maintain inventory levels for key materials and supplies.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years of progressive experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP financial systems and advanced computer applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience interacting with all levels of management and vendors/consultants.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple projects and assignments with urgency.
  • Knowledge of SOX requirements, GAAP, and tax regulations preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare documents, presentations, and budget tables with minimal instruction.
  • Technical proficiency and ability to locate pertinent information online.
