Overview

  • Lead nursing operations at a dynamic healthcare facility, ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversee multiple departments, including Operating Room, PreOp, and PACU, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, risk management strategies, and infection control protocols to maintain high standards of care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for staff, enhancing professional growth and team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align nursing practices with organizational goals and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, safeguarding patient safety and facility reputation.

  • Serve as a mentor and leader, providing clear direction and support to nursing teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage nursing operations across OR, PreOp, and PACU, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement programs, enhancing clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervise risk management and infection control measures, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Coordinate staff training and development initiatives, fostering professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Collaborate with physicians and administrative leaders to optimize nursing practices and facility operations.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, protecting patient rights and facility integrity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Current RN licensure and certification in BLS and ACLS within 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in an ambulatory or similar healthcare setting.
  • Expertise in OR, PreOp, and PACU operations and patient care protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement, risk management, and infection control practices.
  • Ability to foster a positive team culture and hold staff accountable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage complex operations effectively.
