Overview

  • Drive multifamily construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies to uphold project integrity.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
  • Utilize advanced construction management techniques to address challenges and implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates and resolving issues to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee all phases of multifamily construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress and addressing concerns.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve technical challenges effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily ground-up construction; 7 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $50-120M in scope.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior staff and leading teams.
  • Expertise in construction management practices, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work on-site and manage project activities effectively.
