Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a compassionate advocate for hospice services, building trust-based relationships within the community.
  • Promote specialized end-of-life care services to healthcare professionals and families in need.
  • Collaborate with physicians and referral sources to ensure patients receive quality hospice care.
  • Drive census growth by increasing awareness and preference for hospice services in the territory.

  • Represent the client’s mission and values, ensuring dignity and compassion in all interactions.
  • Operate within Richmond, Burke, and Jefferson Counties, maintaining a consistent schedule.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, healthcare partners, and community agencies.
  • Conduct regular outreach to promote hospice services and educate referral sources.
  • Support patients and families by explaining hospice services and facilitating consent processes.
  • Drive referral growth through intentional visits with healthcare professionals and facilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and referral activities.
  • Participate in community events to enhance visibility and foster partnerships.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on community needs and opportunities for service improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of sales or marketing experience in healthcare required.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care marketing strongly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
