Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Review and verify treatment plans and physician orders for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Educate patients about radiation therapy procedures, ensuring understanding and comfort throughout their treatment journey.
• Prepare and calibrate radiation therapy equipment to ensure operational readiness and precision.
• Perform imaging procedures, analyzing results to maintain treatment accuracy and effectiveness.
• Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting treatments as necessary to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct quality control checks on equipment to maintain operational standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to optimize radiation therapy plans and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinating maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field is required.
• ARRT(T) certification and BLS certification from recognized organizations are mandatory.
• Proficiency in operating advanced radiation therapy equipment and performing imaging procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
