Job Description

Overview

  • Perform precise mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies using technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Ensure alignment, fit, and functionality of assembled systems through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilize shop tools for fabrication, adjustment, and modification of mechanical parts.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Document assembly processes, modifications, and test results comprehensively and accurately.
  • Adhere to industry safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to detailed technical specifications.
