Overview

  • Lead tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with advisors to integrate tax considerations into financial plans.
  • Provide expertise in estate planning and business tax compliance services.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation and reforms to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to business development through networking and public speaking.
  • Manage and train team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review and analyze individual, trust, estate, and business tax returns.
  • Handle federal and state tax notices and audits effectively.
  • Research tax laws and prepare technical memorandums on complex topics.
  • Develop tax savings strategies and estate planning advisory services.
  • Provide internal training on tax-related topics to enhance team expertise.
  • Collaborate with wealth advisors and financial planners for integrated solutions.
  • Manage client accounts, fostering strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts through article writing and public engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active CPA, EA, or state bar license required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
  • Proficiency in tax advisory and compliance for high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and Bloomberg Income Tax Planner preferred.
  • Strong skills in research, memo writing, and tax planning strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverables.
