Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Compliance Officer within a dynamic private equity real estate firm.
  • Provide compliance support to internal teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Analyze compliance data to identify trends and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Draft and update compliance policies and procedures to maintain organizational integrity.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Evaluate internal controls and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies, legal entities, and consumers.
  • Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk management processes.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Compliance Program.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide day-to-day compliance support to property and asset management teams.
  • Review and resolve compliance issues, including remediation efforts.
  • Analyze compliance testing results to identify risk trends.
  • Draft and distribute compliance-related communications and procedures.
  • Deliver training on company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate compliance processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to regulatory and legal inquiries, coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Support compliance monitoring and testing programs across policies and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support compliance initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related areas.
  • Preferred experience in real estate property management or financial services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and adaptable with strong interpersonal skills.
