Overview
- Serve as a Compliance Officer within a dynamic private equity real estate firm.
- Provide compliance support to internal teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Analyze compliance data to identify trends and mitigate risks effectively.
- Draft and update compliance policies and procedures to maintain organizational integrity.
- Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Evaluate internal controls and processes to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies, legal entities, and consumers.
- Support vendor due diligence and third-party risk management processes.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Compliance Program.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide day-to-day compliance support to property and asset management teams.
- Review and resolve compliance issues, including remediation efforts.
- Analyze compliance testing results to identify risk trends.
- Draft and distribute compliance-related communications and procedures.
- Deliver training on company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate compliance processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Respond to regulatory and legal inquiries, coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Support compliance monitoring and testing programs across policies and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support compliance initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related areas.
- Preferred experience in real estate property management or financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
