Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and mentor a team of design engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
  • Oversee engineering design lifecycle, establishing standards and processes for manufacturable component designs.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with customer engineering teams, supporting design reviews and resolving issues.
  • Drive innovative design solutions to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
  • Promote a collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and develop engineering team members, ensuring effective workload management and technical growth.
  • Establish and maintain design standards and processes for high-quality component designs.
  • Interface with customer engineering teams to clarify requirements and support technical reviews.
  • Implement cost-effective design solutions to improve product reliability and manufacturability.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in industrial manufacturing with engineering leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven success in managing technical teams and complex engineering projects.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovative and cost-effective design solutions.
